Even though she got a B in high school photography, Alexandra Bull has always had a camera nearby.

After having the first of her four children, it became more than a hobby and she began to take pictures relentlessly. So much so that now her favorite subjects run and hide when they see her with a camera. 

After seeing a few of her own children's portraits, friends started asking for pictures of their kids and Stairstep Kids Photography was born. 

Alex has a very candid style, using mostly natural light and very few poses. As she has several small children (four, to be exact), capturing kids in their natural element is a skill honed in the trenches.
